About
I was professionally trained at Birmingham School of Architecture then worked in practice for 12 years before setting up Daniel Jew Architect in 2019.
My experience spans everything from bespoke design-led builds, to barn conversions, major renovations and large extensions. And it reaches as far as multi-million pound commercial headquarters and award-winning ecclesiastical projects.

Studio
Through my many client interactions, I recognised that the process can usually feel somewhat fraught with complexity and uncertainty, leading to stress and struggle for those seeking truly exceptional outcomes. This led to my belief that client’s need more than an architect, they need a partner that stands by their side from initial designs, right the way through to development and completion.
And it was this belief that led me to set up my own practice - seeking to deliver both architectural outcomes and a client experience that represents nothing short of Stunning Simplicity.

How I work
It all starts with you. I’ll lean into your story and personal experiences to make each design specific to you. Seeking to explore and understand the changes you might want to make to your lifestyle; how you’ve used your spaces before and how you want to use them in the future. I also consider ‘place’ as a critical part of the design, and will work to understand the nuance of your surroundings to integrate your building seamlessly into its setting.
My approach to proposals is as unique as my designs. Each is tailored to your needs and those of your project. But at this stage, you can expect to receive the clarity you need to decide on whether we are the right partner for you. We will break down the process and deliverables into individual stages, and lay out our proposed approach along with an understanding of costs and expected timelines. I will always spend the time to talk you through our proposals in detail, answering any questions.
